We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Developer to join a high-impact technology team delivering cloud-based solutions within the public safety sector. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting integrations across enterprise applications and cloud platforms. You’ll work closely with customers, consultants, developers, support teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable solutions and help customers successfully adopt new capabilities.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of development experience, ideally involving Oracle enterprise or application architecture and public safety software.
- Strong working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python, including object-oriented programming and the use of code or scripting for integrations, automation, and data transformation.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting REST and SOAP APIs, GraphQL, file-based interfaces, databases, and data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Experience working from integration discovery documents and documented requirements, including data mappings, interfaces, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, testing, and deploying integrations using an iPaaS platform, particularly Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), along with APIs, files, databases, and messaging technologies.
The Role:
- Translate customer business requirements into practical technical solutions, clearly explaining options, trade-offs, timelines, and delivery considerations.
- Design, configure, test, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise integrations.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, developers, support teams, and integration partners to resolve interface failures, data-quality issues, authentication challenges, and connectivity problems.
- Develop and maintain customer-facing technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, test plans, runbooks, data mappings, and handover materials.
- Support customer go-lives and early-life stabilization, helping to triage issues and ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Use AI-enabled development and productivity tools responsibly to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing while maintaining appropriate customer-data protections.
- Identify opportunities to create repeatable integration patterns, standards, templates, and reusable assets that improve delivery quality and efficiency.
